Sophie Pascal

  • PT

  • Clinical Pilates Coach

  • Rugby Player

Always an enthusiastic athlete, Sophie joined her local rugby team at a young age and developed her love for sport and fitness by becoming a Personal Trainer, going on to eventually specialise in Clinical Pilates.

Sophie joined the policeforce for several years and rose to the challenge of being a woman in a predominantly   male environment and dealing with tough situations at all times of the day and night.

As a rugby player, Sophie moved quickly to elite level, playing in the premiership league and making selection for divisional teams as a stepping stone for England trials. Sadly her journey was abruptly interrupted after a severe neck injury, which was thought would end her career. After 3 years of battling both physical and mental turmoil, she stepped back onto the pitch to play for Richmond Women’s RFC.

Sophie has grit and reslience in spades and can’t wait to take on the enormous challenge the Great Pacific Race presents. Read Sophie's 'Why' here.
